About Beaconville

Beaconville Nursing Home is a well-known and highly regarded nursing home situated in an idyllic wooded setting in Ivybridge, Devon. Established many years ago it retains many of its period features.

Specialising in Dementia nursing for the over-65 age group the Management and staff recognise that a "person-centered" approach is the key to their success. Beaconville believes that recognising, supporting and celebrating each resident's individuality is the core principle.

Beaconville has been a thriving and reputable nursing home for over 25 years. Both staff and Management strive for excellence at all times and follow rigorous up-to-date training which includes the Alzheimer's Society accredited and Bradford University Dementia specific courses. Experiencing memory loss in a loved one is particularly distressing and it can become difficult to provide adequate care in that person's own home.
